In result of looting, the player mage becomes more powerful because he earns new spell, so the deck building mechanism is incorporated in the proposed variant. The voyage through the dungeon is based on rougelike concept, so the mage visits different dungeon chamber with different size and shape, faces different opponents and gathers the loot after the battle. In the proposed variant the Player controls only chosen mage, who is imprisoned in the SpellBond Castle and who tries to escape.
To sum, I decided to develop new solo variant of the Mage Wars, which is slightly different from the core game.
The main reason was, both of them were developed in order to simulate fully the enemy mage, what is hard to implement by using only dice and cards - the apps potentially would be much better to limit endless rolling. I already published two solo variants of Mage Wars, but in my opinion, both were too complicated and hard to use. The file describes new solo variant of Mage Wars called 'Escape from Spellbond Castle'.
